Programme Description
Bush Creek is a multi-discipline music/theatre piece written especially for primary/intermediate age students. It follows the story of an urban child as he/she visits a small rural New Zealand community and discovers the differences between urban and rural childhood experiences. Suitable for both rural and urban schools, this highly entertaining presentation weaves an often humourous yarn about New Zealand rural life and the daily experiences of country kiwi kids. Students will learn how to make their own instruments and will be encouraged to form a band.
Students participate through singing and volunteers are invited to act and dance.
