Welcome

Much of my professional life has been spent working with a remarkable diversity of musicians and artists. It gives me great pleasure to share with you some of these wonderful experiences.

Making Music Happen

The best explanation I've come up with to describe my work has been that I simply make music happen. This has largely been through organising other people to perform in concerts or in festivals or to support musicians in a technical sense through amplification or recording.

Over the years though, I have also been fortunate to work with musicians and artists to create new work, to create new concepts, and to present these in different forms.

Clicking on an image below you will be able to explore these for yourself.

The Taonga Puoro link tells the story of my journey with these treasured instruments and gives information on my current school programmes which includes resources that you may wish to reference.

The Collaboration Link showcases various projects where I have had the pleasure of working with a wonderful range of artists and includes video and audio recordings of some of these projects.

Sound Design explores the area of creation of music and sound effects for live performance, film and the web.

Audio Production briefly describes the services I provide for location recording of choirs orchestras and chamber ensembles.

Listen features a wide variety of audio recordings, all of which are available for free streaming and download.

Finally, the More page talks about my background in education, management and governance.
